areola tattooing
Dori LaLanne received her Advanced Training with Karen Nolff, of the Huntington Academy of Permanent Cosmetics. Her expertise is working with women and men who have had a mastectomy through areola tattooing. She redesigns, recreates and applies pigment to the breast tissue following a mastectomy to look very natural to help you feel whole again.
A digital control unit is used, which assures consistent and stable needle frequency, despite resistance of the skin. The digital control unit will also decrease the needle punctures per second when “pulling” of the skin occurs.
Through our areola tattooing process we are able to create a nipple tattoo and the end result is three dimensional to make it appear as natural as possible.
The pigments used are made naturally and specially formulated using iron oxide for breast tattoos. Dori assesses each client and chooses the colors that would most closely match their skin tone. Areola re-pigmentation can be used for touch ups on faded areola tattoos or for matching the colors of remaining nipple, if only one side is needed.
